A second allocation will follow in the coming weeks to channel digitalization funds alongside other negotiated items.

Overview

  • The Andalusian University Council approved the distribution across ten public universities, with the University of Seville at €422.17 million, Granada at €387.34 million, Málaga at €234.88 million, Cádiz at €147.07 million, Córdoba at €142.04 million, Jaén at €105.52 million, Almería at €90.89 million, Huelva at €84.47 million, Pablo de Olavide at €79.89 million, and UNIA at €14.36 million.
  • Of the €1,708.68 million total, €1,566.5 million is assigned to basic financing for personnel, operations and maintenance, and €126.7 million is tied to performance via program contracts.
  • An additional €15.49 million is earmarked to pay regional complements for teaching and research staff awarded under the new evaluation model.
  • The regional government has reserved €33.2 million to cover any 2025 national public-sector pay rise, to be routed through the financing model if needed.
  • A €20 million investment and infrastructure plan has proposed allocations—such as €1.49 million for UCO—that require final approval from the Economy department, and the pending second distribution will include €16 million for digitalization and sustainability plus items under negotiation including María Goyri hires, PTGAS payments and leveling funds.
