Andalucía Initiates ITV Tariff Review and Opens Public Consultation

The consultation window runs until August 13 to guide a simpler fee model aligned with economic and environmental goals

  • On July 30 the Junta de Andalucía launched a full review of ITV tariffs to replace fees frozen by the 2015 deindexation law
  • Current inspection rates of €39.34 for non-catalyzed petrol cars, €43.52 for catalyzed petrol vehicles, €48.62 for diesels and €29.11 for electric models are set to be reassessed
  • The reform aims to simplify the complex multi-component structure, aligning fees with regional economic, safety and environmental standards
  • Citizens can submit feedback through the Consejería de Industria, Energía y Minas until August 13 to shape the drafting of the new tariff order
  • Veiasa has opened a call for 50 inspector training contracts of six to twelve months to expand and strengthen ITV inspection capacity
