Anaheim Street Takeover Ends in Tragedy as Car Hits Bystanders

Two teens were hospitalized after a Dodge Charger plowed into a crowd during an illegal street racing event.

An illegal street takeover in Anaheim resulted in a black Dodge Charger hitting two 19-year-olds early Friday morning.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Orangewood Avenue and State College Boulevard, close to Angel Stadium.
Video footage shows the Charger spinning out of control, striking several people and pinning some under the vehicle.
Both injured teens were taken to the hospital with serious injuries but are now in stable condition.
The driver fled the scene on foot, and police are actively investigating, but no arrests have been made yet.
