Anaheim Ducks Acquire Goalie Ville Husso from Detroit Red Wings

Ville Husso, 30, was traded from the Detroit Red Wings to the Anaheim Ducks on Monday for future considerations.
Husso will initially join the Ducks' AHL affiliate in San Diego as Anaheim deals with injuries to starting goalie John Gibson and others.
Husso is in the final year of a three-year, $14.25 million contract and will become an unrestricted free agent after this season.
The trade frees up $3.6 million in salary cap space for the Red Wings, who had previously assigned Husso to their AHL affiliate in Grand Rapids.
Husso has a career NHL record of 70-45-18 with a 3.05 goals-against average and a .901 save percentage over five seasons with the Blues and Red Wings.
