Overview
- Amy Gray and her dog Reggie were struck by a Land Rover Sport while crossing the eastbound carriageway of Greenock Road around 7:05am on Wednesday.
- The incident happened on the A8 in Port Glasgow, Inverclyde, and both were pronounced dead at the scene.
- The driver of the Land Rover was not injured, according to Police Scotland.
- Greenock Road was closed for approximately five hours for forensic inquiries and has since reopened.
- Investigators are asking anyone with witness accounts or dashcam footage to contact police on 101 quoting incident 0401.
