Amy Dowden Joins Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour After Injury Recovery

The professional dancer returns to the stage following a shin injury and a successful battle with breast cancer.

  • Amy Dowden, 34, will perform on the Strictly Come Dancing live tour starting January, after withdrawing from the competition in November due to a shin injury.
  • Dowden, who underwent treatment for stage-three breast cancer in 2023, announced earlier this year that she has 'no evidence of disease.'
  • She will dance with her original celebrity partner, JB Gill, alongside other couples from the 2024 season, including finalists Tasha Ghouri and Sarah Hadland.
  • This year’s winner, comedian Chris McCausland, will not participate in the tour due to scheduling conflicts with his stand-up commitments.
  • The tour will visit nine UK cities, beginning in Birmingham on January 17 and concluding in London on February 9, with all four Strictly judges and host Janette Manrara joining the performances.
