AMNH Revives ‘A Night at the Museum’ Sleepovers After Five-Year Hiatus
Member presales start Sept. 30 before public sales on Oct. 7.
Overview
- Initial dates are set for Oct. 24, Nov. 22 and Dec. 5, with each overnight running from 6 pm to 9 am at the New York museum.
- Designed for children ages 6–12 with caregivers, the program features flashlight tours, scavenger hunts, group games, live demonstrations and a quiet bedtime story.
- Sleeping bags are rolled out in landmark spaces, with limited spots available under the blue whale and near dinosaur fossils and dioramas.
- Tickets cost $225 per person and include an evening snack, continental breakfast, a souvenir gift and a voucher for a future visit.
- Rules require participants to be at least 6 years old, a one-to-one adult for each child under 8, up to five older children per adult and no inflatable mattresses.
