Amitabh Bachchan sold his duplex apartment in Mumbai's Oshiwara neighborhood for ₹83 crore, marking a 168% increase from its 2021 purchase price of ₹31 crore.
The duplex spans 5,185 sq. ft of carpet area across the 27th and 28th floors of The Atlantis, a premium residential project by Crystal Group.
The property includes a 4,800 sq. ft terrace, six mechanized car parking spaces, and incurred a stamp duty of ₹4.98 crore during the sale.
The same apartment was leased to actress Kriti Sanon in 2021 for ₹10 lakh per month, with a ₹60 lakh security deposit.
The Bachchan family continues to expand its real estate portfolio, investing over ₹100 crore in properties across Mumbai in 2024 alone.
