Amit Shah to Inaugurate All India Speakers’ Conference at Delhi Assembly on Aug. 24

The gathering uses Vithalbhai Patel’s centenary to link parliamentary heritage to contemporary questions of transparency.

  • A curated exhibition on Vithalbhai Patel will be launched during the conference and open to the public from Aug. 26–31, alongside a commissioned documentary narrated by actor Anupam Kher.
  • Former Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar are slated to speak, with a valedictory address by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
