Amit Shah to Inaugurate 101 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and Five Hospital Blocks in Delhi on September 17

The launches open a fortnight of 75 rollouts billed as a push toward a ‘Viksit Delhi’.

  • The Thyagraj Stadium event will formally open 101 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and five new hospital blocks, including expansions at Sanjay Gandhi, Acharya Bhikshu, Guru Gobind Singh and Shri Dada Dev hospitals.
  • Chief Minister Rekha Gupta will lead a ‘Thank You Modi’ programme with an exhibition and a Sewa Sankalp walk, plus a mega blood donation camp at India Gate targeting 1,000 units.
  • The inaugurations are part of a Seva Pakhwada from September 17 to October 2 that officials say will see roughly 75 development and welfare projects rolled out across the capital.
  • Urban works slated during the drive include the PWD’s Delhi Drainage Master Plan, the Nand Nagri flyover, Yamuna cleanup measures and Delhi Jal Board upgrades, with DJB projects worth Rs 3,660 crore set for a September 30 launch in Okhla.
  • Health and social facilities in the package include 150 dialysis machines, maternal and child care units, nursing college and hostel buildings, a PUHC in Narela, a hostel for visually impaired women in Timarpur and a senior citizens’ home in Paschim Vihar, while 75 IGDTUW-built drones will be deployed with Delhi Police for surveillance.
