Overview
- On a one-day tour after a fog delay, the home minister opened the redeveloped Batadrava Than in Nagaon, a project reported at around Rs 227 crore, and addressed a public rally there.
- In Guwahati, he inaugurated the new Rs 111-crore Police Commissionerate building and an Integrated Command and Control System worth about Rs 189 crore that will monitor over 2,000 CCTV cameras.
- He also opened the Rs 291-crore Jyoti–Bishnu cultural complex, a 5,000-seat auditorium billed as a major boost to Assam’s cultural infrastructure.
