• During a one-day visit to Ahilyanagar district, Amit Shah offered prayers at the Saibaba temple in Shirdi alongside Maharashtra’s top leadership.
• Shah inaugurated multiple cooperative-sector initiatives, including a sugar factory project, a spray dryer and a potash granule manufacturing unit.
• He launched what was reported as the country’s first cooperative compressed biogas plant in Kopargaon, set up to convert agricultural waste into fuel.
• BJP sources said Shah met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and deputy chief ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar to review crop losses from recent heavy rains and possible financial assistance.
