Amir Reza-Tofighi Elected President of France's CPME
The 40-year-old entrepreneur becomes the youngest leader of the organization, succeeding François Asselin after a decade of leadership.
- Amir Reza-Tofighi won the CPME presidency with 65.4% of the vote, defeating two other candidates, Alain Gargani and Gaëtan de Sainte Marie.
- Tofighi is the youngest president in the history of the CPME and brings a background in service industries and tech entrepreneurship.
- He co-founded Vitalliance, a major home care company with 8,500 employees, as well as international tech firms Heetch and Click and Boat.
- The son of Iranian refugees, Tofighi grew up in Grigny and holds degrees from Centrale Supélec and HEC Paris.
- His presidency begins during a challenging economic and political period, with tasks including uniting the organization and addressing upcoming pension reform negotiations.
