American Pride Reaches Near Historic Low According to Gallup

A recent Gallup poll reveals only 41% of Americans are extremely proud of their national identity, with significant partisan divides.

This is the fifth consecutive year that extreme pride in being American has hovered between 38% and 43%.
Republicans show higher levels of extreme pride (59%) compared to Democrats (34%) and Independents (36%).
Overall, 67% of Americans are either extremely or very proud of their national identity.
The highest recorded levels of American pride were seen post-9/11, with a steady decline since 2015.
Economic concerns also weigh heavily, with nearly half of Americans rating current conditions as poor.
