American Music Awards Returns in May 2025 with 50th Anniversary Special This October

CBS and Dick Clark Productions announce the AMAs will skip 2024, marking the first-ever shift to a spring ceremony in 2025.

The AMAs will not hold an awards ceremony in 2023 or 2024, resuming in May 2025.
A two-hour 50th Anniversary Special will air on October 6, featuring new performances and exclusive footage.
The special will include interviews, collaborations, and appearances from past and present artists.
This marks the beginning of a new partnership between CBS and Dick Clark Productions, which also airs the Golden Globe Awards.
The special will be available on CBS and Paramount+ with Showtime for live and on-demand viewing.
