American Man Confesses to Rape and Murder of US Tourist Near Neuschwanstein Castle

Troy Phillip Bohling admits to the brutal attack on two American tourists in Germany, resulting in the death of one and serious injuries to the other.

Troy Phillip Bohling, a 31-year-old from Michigan, confessed to raping and murdering 21-year-old Eva Liu and attempting to murder her friend, 22-year-old Kelsey Chang, near Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany.
The attack occurred on June 14, 2023, when Bohling lured the two women to a secluded spot under the guise of showing them a beautiful viewpoint.
Bohling pushed Chang down a steep slope, resulting in serious injuries, but she survived. He then raped and strangled Liu before pushing her down the slope as well, leading to her death.
Bohling also admitted to possessing child pornography, with authorities finding incriminating material on his laptop and cellphone.
The trial is set to run until March 13, 2024, with Bohling facing charges of murder, rape with fatal consequences, attempted murder, and possession of child pornography.
