Overview
- Troy Phillip Bohling, a 31-year-old from Michigan, confessed to raping and murdering 21-year-old Eva Liu and attempting to murder her friend, 22-year-old Kelsey Chang, near Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany.
- The attack occurred on June 14, 2023, when Bohling lured the two women to a secluded spot under the guise of showing them a beautiful viewpoint.
- Bohling pushed Chang down a steep slope, resulting in serious injuries, but she survived. He then raped and strangled Liu before pushing her down the slope as well, leading to her death.
- Bohling also admitted to possessing child pornography, with authorities finding incriminating material on his laptop and cellphone.
