'American Idol' Unveils 'Wizard of Oz' Themed Promo for Season 22

The promo features judges visiting iconic winners' hometowns and their own, ahead of the show's February 18 premiere.

American Idol has released a new promo for its upcoming 22nd season, featuring judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Ryan Seacrest in a 'Wizard of Oz' themed journey.
The promo, titled 'Golden Ticket Road', sees the judges visit the hometowns of some of the show's most iconic winners, including Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.
The new season will also feature special episodes where the judges revisit their own hometowns.
The promo is set to air during ABC’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve broadcast.
The 22nd season of American Idol is set to premiere on February 18.
