- Effective Sept. 29, customers can book single-ticket connections on aa.com, American’s app, and flyporter.com, with most itineraries flowing through Toronto Pearson.
- American is now placing its code on Porter flights to Edmonton, Halifax, Ottawa, Victoria and Winnipeg, with additions such as Calgary, Vancouver, Charlottetown, Kelowna, St. John’s and Saskatoon coming in the weeks ahead.
- Porter is placing its code on select American flights via hubs in Charlotte, Chicago O’Hare, Dallas/Fort Worth and Philadelphia, with more options to follow including Honolulu, Nashville, New Orleans, Portland, Sacramento, Salt Lake City and San Jose, plus access to AA’s Caribbean, Central America and South America network.
- AAdvantage members earn miles and Loyalty Points only when traveling on Porter-operated flights sold under American’s code, with award redemptions and reciprocal elite benefits still under development.
- The carriers sought U.S. DOT approval in July, advancing a partnership that gives American a Canadian ally as Porter expands its network using Embraer E195-E2 jets.
