Overview
- American’s only new long-haul launch is daily Dallas–Fort Worth–Athens service beginning May 21, 2026, operated with Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners.
- Five pre-pandemic services will return with summer seasonal flights from Philadelphia to Budapest and Prague, from Dallas to Zurich and Buenos Aires, and year-round Miami–Milan service launching March 29.

- The Dallas–Buenos Aires run will extend through August 3, 2026, to support travel for nine 2026 FIFA World Cup matches hosted in Dallas.
- Tickets for all new and resumed long-haul routes will be available starting August 11 on American’s website.
