AMD's Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D CPUs Expected to Launch in January 2025

The high-end Zen 5-based processors with 3D V-Cache technology are rumored to debut at CES 2025, following the success of the Ryzen 7 9800X3D.

AMD is reportedly preparing to launch two new high-end Ryzen 9 CPUs, the 9950X3D and 9900X3D, in late January 2025, with a debut anticipated during CES 2025.
The Ryzen 9 9950X3D is expected to feature 16 cores, 32 threads, and a total cache of 144 MB, while the 9900X3D will offer 12 cores, 24 threads, and a 140 MB cache pool.
Both CPUs will include AMD's 3D V-Cache technology, which enhances gaming performance and supports full overclocking for the first time in this lineup.
The Ryzen 7 9800X3D, launched earlier this month, has been praised for its unlocked overclocking capabilities and significant performance improvements over its predecessor, the 7800X3D.
Despite its popularity, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is facing stock shortages and inflated prices at third-party retailers, with AMD adjusting official pricing in Europe due to exchange rate fluctuations.
