AMD Launches Radeon RX 7600 XT GPU with Faster Core and 16 GB VRAM

Despite Performance Boost, New GPU Struggles to Justify Higher Price Point

The AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT GPU, designed for 1080p gaming and some 1440p games, has been officially launched with a faster-clocked core and 16 GB of VRAM at $329.
The RX 7600 XT is an enhanced version of the RX 7600, with the same number of compute units and ray accelerators, but faster clocks and double the VRAM.
Performance tests show that the RX 7600 XT offers a 19.42% average uplift over the Radeon RX 7600 and up to a 46% improvement in 1440p gaming.
However, reviews indicate that the RX 7600 XT may not offer enough of a performance boost to justify its higher price point compared to the base RX 7600 model.
Despite its higher price, the RX 7600 XT struggles to compete with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 and Intel's Arc A770 in terms of performance.
