Overview
- The Met Office amber warning runs from 8pm Thursday to 9am Friday across large parts of the East and West Midlands, with a National Highways amber alert from 6pm.
- National Highways forecasts about 10–15 cm on routes around Birmingham, Leicester and Nottingham and 8–12 cm on higher routes, and it will close the A628 Woodhead Pass from 8pm.
