Overview

• The Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued the alert early Tuesday after reports that 16-year-old Jasmin Alicia Zapata was forced into a truck in Boulder on Monday night.
• Investigators identify 19-year-old Juan Bretado as the suspected driver, with a second male also sought in connection with the case.
• The vehicle is a cream or white two-door 2007 Chevy Silverado with Colorado plate AXW-L52 and a lime green “Timpano” sticker on the lower left of the rear windshield.
• The truck was last seen at 8:57 p.m. Monday near Thornton Parkway and Gale Boulevard in Thornton after Zapata was last seen near her residence around 8:30 p.m.
• Authorities advise not to approach the vehicle and to call 911 with sightings or the Boulder Police Department at 303-441-3333 with information.
