Overview
- Unidentified persons allegedly poured petrol on the Ambedkar statue at Devalampeta in Vedurukuppam and set it ablaze in the early hours of October 3.
- Hundreds of villagers staged rasta-rokos, blocking routes toward Puttur, Pallipattu and Kothapallimitta and halting rural traffic for hours.
