Amazon Signs Brian Williams for Election Night Special

The former NBC anchor will lead Amazon Prime Video's first live news coverage event on November 5th.

Brian Williams, former NBC and MSNBC anchor, is set to host an election night special on Amazon Prime Video.
The special will feature non-partisan discussions and will not call the election results, relying instead on state-by-state calls from the Associated Press.
Veteran TV producer Jonathan Wald, who previously worked with Williams at NBC, will oversee the production.
The program will be streamed live from Amazon MGM Studios in Los Angeles, starting at 5 PM ET and continuing until the election results are finalized.
This marks Amazon's first venture into live news coverage, following its expansion into live sports and entertainment.
