Overview

  • The new app extends Amazon’s low-price Haul offering to Hong Kong, the Philippines, Taiwan, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Nigeria.
  • Most items are priced under $10 with some as low as $2, free returns are available within 15 days, free delivery applies above a local minimum, and typical shipping times are two weeks or less.
  • Shoppers can sign in with existing Amazon credentials, choose from six languages, pay in local currencies, and use Visa, Mastercard or American Express on iOS and Android.
  • Bazaar features engagement tools such as social lucky draws and promotions, and new customers receive 50% off their first order.
  • The rollout is positioned against Temu and Shein, while analysts note Amazon has not disclosed its fulfillment approach or local wallet integrations, factors that could shape costs, delivery speed and checkout conversion.
