Currently available to Kindle users in the United States, it covers thousands of bestselling English-language book series.
The feature is being deployed via an over-the-air update (version 5.18.1) and can also be manually installed on eligible Kindle devices.
Readers can access Recaps through the 'View Recaps' button in their Kindle Library or the three-dot menu on a series page.
Amazon plans to extend the feature to the Kindle iOS app in the near future, expanding its accessibility.
