Amazon Pharmacy Begins Delivering Novo Nordisk’s Wegovy Weight-Loss Pill

  • Eligible insured patients can pay as little as $25 per month, with a $149 monthly cash starter price, according to the companies.
  • Amazon said it will add the pill to prescription vending kiosks at select One Medical clinics in the coming weeks.
  • The oral semaglutide launched this week across more than 70,000 pharmacies and via telehealth partners including Ro, LifeMD, WeightWatchers, GoodRx and NovoCare Pharmacy.
  • The FDA cleared the pill in December as the first oral GLP-1 for weight loss, with Eli Lilly’s rival oral candidate expected to seek approval later this year.
