- Amazon introduced the Fire TV Stick 4K Select as its first media player on Vega OS, available to preorder for €54.99 with deliveries starting in mid-October.
- Vega OS replaces the Android-based Fire OS with a Linux foundation and React Native development, retains a familiar interface, and has been field-tested on recent Echo Show devices.
- New Fire TV Omni QLED models in 50, 55, 65 and 75 inches feature up to 60% higher brightness, nearly double the local dimming zones, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ Adaptive, and a processor Amazon rates about 40% faster.
