Amazon Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition Sees First Price Drop

The new color e-reader is now available for $229.99, marking its lowest price since its release last November.

The Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition is Amazon's first e-reader with a color display, enhancing the experience for comics and visually rich content.
It features a 7-inch glare-free screen with 300ppi resolution for black-and-white and 150ppi for color content, as well as adjustable warm and cool front-light settings.
The device offers 32GB of storage, IPX8 waterproofing, wireless charging support, and an ad-free lock screen, but lacks physical page-turn buttons.
The battery life is eight weeks, shorter than the Paperwhite's 12 weeks, and early units had a yellow discoloration issue, which Amazon has reportedly resolved.
