Amazon driver hospitalized in serious condition after eastern diamondback rattlesnake bite in Florida

An Amazon driver was bitten by an eastern diamondback rattlesnake while delivering a package in Palm City, Florida.
The snake was coiled near the front door and struck the driver's leg as she was dropping off the package.
The driver called 911 and was hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
Eastern diamondback rattlesnakes are highly venomous and common to the southeastern US.
Their venom can be fatal if left untreated.
