Amazon Delivery Driver Arrested After Running Over Woman Twice in Baltimore

The driver turned himself in after shocking surveillance footage showed him hitting a woman in a crosswalk and fleeing the scene.

The incident occurred on February 18, 2025, at 9:30 p.m. in the Butchers Hill neighborhood of Baltimore at a crosswalk on East Pratt and South Chester streets.
Video footage shows the Amazon delivery van hitting a 29-year-old woman, running over her front and back wheels, and briefly stopping before driving away.
The driver, identified as 26-year-old Jerome Allan Young Jr., turned himself in to Baltimore County police and faces charges of negligent and reckless driving.
The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at a hospital, while bystanders at the scene offered assistance.
Amazon confirmed the driver has been suspended from deliveries and stated they are cooperating with law enforcement in the ongoing investigation.
