Overview
- On Wednesday Amazon listed AirPods Pro 3 for $199, a $50 reduction from the $249 suggested retail price noted across multiple reports.
- Amazon also discounted the over‑ear AirPods Max 2 this week, with AppleInsider reporting a $449 price and 9to5Toys showing a $429 snapshot for some listings.
- Review coverage highlights that AirPods Pro 3 are Apple’s flagship in‑ear model with an improved fit that includes five silicone tips and stronger active noise cancellation.
- Deal reporters frame these cuts as month‑end promotions rather than permanent price changes and say historically deeper lows have returned only briefly during major shopping events.
- Shoppers should expect limited windows and spotty stock for the steepest discounts, so buyers who want the lowest possible price may need to watch Prime and Black Friday sales closely.
