Overview

  • The activated multi-tier security network, backed by 581 CAPF companies and Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel, runs round-the-clock checkpoints with facial recognition and anti-sabotage inspections.
  • High-security exercises at Bhagwati Nagar and a joint landslide drill at Samroli tested SOPs and emergency response coordination among SOG, CRPF, Army, SDRF and civil administration teams.
  • A dry run of Yatra convoys on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway validated logistics and interagency coordination under full security cover.
  • On-the-spot offline registration opened at multiple Jammu centres, including a dedicated camp for sadhus, pushing total pilgrim registrations past 330,000 for the 38-day pilgrimage.
