AM Green, Port of Rotterdam Authority Establish $1 Billion Green Fuel Corridor

Overview

  • On May 26, AM Green and the Port of Rotterdam Authority signed a memorandum to link India’s green hydrogen clusters with Northwestern Europe via Rotterdam.
  • The partnership aims to facilitate annual exports of 1 million tons of green fuels, including bunkering fuels and sustainable aviation fuels, valued at up to $1 billion.
  • Joint efforts will assess and develop Rotterdam terminal infrastructure for safe handling of hydrogen-based fuels and chemicals.
  • AM Green plans to commence production at its Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh green ammonia facility in the second half of 2026, targeting a 5 million-ton annual capacity by 2030.
  • Offtake agreements with Uniper, Yara and Keppel anchor early demand and underpin the new supply chain.
