Overview
- The 26th Altonale festival launched on June 27 across Altona districts and offers free entry under its longstanding pay-what-you-want policy.
- The Green World Tour fair on June 27–28 showcased eco-friendly initiatives on Ottenser Hauptstraße, including zero-waste clothing swaps and sustainable living exhibits.
- Attendees can experience art exhibitions, dance and ballet performances, literary readings in Jenischpark and live music on the Altonaer Balkon throughout the festival.
- STAMP – Street Arts Melting Pot, the festival’s finale from July 4–6, will bring international muralists, breakdance crews, stilt walkers and evening light parades to Große Bergstraße.
- Complementing Altonale, Hamburg’s summer calendar features neighborhood celebrations such as Ottensen’s Fest des Guten Lebens and the Tibargfest in Niendorf, extending the city’s open-air cultural offerings.
