• The officially announced coaster will open in CBeebies Land at Alton Towers, bringing the Australian TV hit to a new family ride experience next spring.
• Alton Towers says the ride’s name, manufacturer and a precise opening date will be revealed in the coming months.
• The attraction adds to existing Bluey offerings at the resort, including Heeler family meet-and-greets, a live stage show and Bluey-themed hotel rooms that debuted in May 2024.
• Site preparation has progressed, with Postman Pat Parcel Post closed and removed in June and a section of Get Set Go Treetop Adventure rerouted following planning work known as Project Sunshine.
• Merlin and BBC Studios executives hailed the project as the first-ever Bluey rollercoaster, citing the show’s strong UK following with more than 770 million BBC iPlayer streams.
