Altitude Sports Launches Altitude+ Streaming Service for Nuggets and Avalanche Fans
The new service aims to resolve the Comcast blackout by offering direct-to-consumer streaming and over-the-air broadcasts.
- Altitude+ will debut in October, costing $19.95 per month for access to all non-nationally televised Nuggets and Avalanche games.
- Kroenke Sports & Entertainment has partnered with TEGNA to broadcast 20 games each for the Nuggets and Avalanche on local stations 9NEWS and My20.
- The streaming service will be available in nine states: Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, South Dakota, and Wyoming.
- The move comes after a five-year blackout on Comcast, which has not carried Altitude Sports since 2019 due to a contract dispute.
- Altitude+ will also feature pregame and postgame shows, and the same on-air talent for game broadcasts.
