Overview

• The Castell de l'Olla will fire over 1,500 kilograms of gunpowder from sea platforms at 23:59 on August 9, with the display lasting roughly 15–20 minutes.
• TRAM d'Alacant will operate 12 special trains before the show and 30 after using new electro-diesel units to boost capacity and sustainability.
• More than 50,000 spectators are expected to gather along Altea’s shoreline and nearby vantage points for the XXXVII edition of the event.
• Held each year on the Saturday nearest San Lorenzo, the Castell de l'Olla has become a flagship summer festival highlight in the Valencian Community.
• The spectacle earned a gold Mérito Turístico award in 1999, was named Fiesta de Interés Turístico de la Comunidad Valenciana in 2007 and received UNESCO auspices in 2016.
