Overview

  • A large crane has set the upper section onto the base, marking a major assembly milestone and bringing the project close to completion.
  • The replica stands at a 1:10 scale, reaching 30 meters in height and weighing about 60 tonnes.
  • Work began in 2017 and required fabricating and assembling tens of thousands of parts, extending past an original 2024 target.
  • The tower is painted in the historical Venedigrot used when the Paris original opened in 1889.
  • Visitors will be able to view the structure on site, though it does not include an elevator and no formal opening date has been announced.
