THQ Nordic has delayed the release of Alone in the Dark to March 20, 2024, to avoid crunch over the Christmas period.
The decision was made in the interest of the well-being of the development team at Pieces Interactive.
The game was originally set to launch in October 2023, but was first delayed to January 2024 to avoid competition with major releases like Assassin's Creed Mirage, Alan Wake 2, and Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
The new release date puts it in competition with Dragon's Dogma 2.
The extended development time will be used to exceed the expectations of the community.
