Overview
- AllUnity launched USDAU on Wednesday as a US dollar stablecoin issued under the EU’s MiCA rules and operated by its BaFin‑licensed electronic money institution.
- The token is 1:1 backed by segregated US dollar reserves and is redeemable at par through AllUnity’s Business Mint Account for institutional clients who complete onboarding.
- USDAU went live across six blockchains at introduction — Ethereum, Solana, Base, Tempo, Arc and Polygon — with AllUnity saying it will add more networks later in the year.
- Banking Circle will provide reserve and transaction banking for USDAU while Flowdesk is the designated liquidity provider, and other partners handle custody, minting and fiat off‑ramps.
- AllUnity added an Instant FX feature to let businesses convert between its fiat stablecoins inside one account for near‑instant, round‑the‑clock settlement, though final fiat payouts depend on banking and off‑ramp partners.
