Overview

  • University of Allahabad’s Academic Council approved a four-year Honours with Research undergraduate programme beginning in the 2025-26 academic session.
  • The eight-semester structure carries a 160-credit load and tasks students with two majors plus a minor before specialising in a research-intensive honours year.
  • NEP 2020 guidelines enable exit after one, two or three years with a certificate, diploma or standard degree.
  • Over 150 two-credit elective courses spanning disciplines from sports analytics to regional cuisines will be offered to enrich the core curriculum.
