All Members of BTS Enlist for Mandatory Military Service

The globally influential K-pop band is expected to reunite in 2025 after completing their service.

All seven members of the K-pop band BTS have now been enlisted for mandatory military service in South Korea.
The first member to enlist, Jin, began his service last December, followed by J-Hope, Suga, RM, V, Jimin and Jung Kook.
The band is expected to reunite around 2025, and it's possible they will perform for their fellow troops during their enlistment.
Despite debates in South Korea about whether globally influential pop stars like BTS should be exempt from military service, the government has maintained that all able-bodied men over the age of 18 must serve.
Members of BTS have expressed their sadness at not being able to make happy memories with their fans during their service time, but assured them they will return healthier.
