Overview
- The fixture is scheduled for Sunday, November 8 at 1:00 p.m. Peru time at Estadio Los Chankas in Andahuaylas, a stadium with an official capacity of about 10,000.
- Alianza published a 22-player list on club social media that includes Jesús Castillo and omits Paolo Guerrero because he is still recovering from injury.
- Renzo Garcés did not travel to Andahuaylas after failing to recover in time from a heavy blow to the nose suffered in an incident involving Cienciano forward Nery Bandiera.
- The match will be broadcast live on L1 MAX and available on streaming platforms that carry the channel, and major bookmakers list Alianza as slight favorites.
- Alianza won the Apertura earlier this year so they already have a route to the season final, but they must win remaining games and rely on other results to keep a realistic chance of claiming the Clausura title.
