- The Lahore Arts Council hosted the Nov. 17 ceremony in collaboration with Kinnaird College’s ICPWE to celebrate Bapsi Sidhwa’s legacy.

- Guests of honor included Professor Naveed Shehzad and Perin C. Boga, with Kinnaird Principal Dr Iram Anjum and other writers and scholars attending.
- Professor Waseem Anwar delivered a talk on Sidhwa’s life and impact, as Professor Shahid Imtiaz presented a research paper and student work was reviewed by Dr Amra Raza, Dr Rizwan, and Dr Ammara, with analyses by Saira Dur and Dr Fatima Saeed.
- The program featured documentaries, a stage sketch, poetic tributes, and alumnae reflections, drew a large audience, and included a multi-publisher book exhibition as Alhamra reaffirmed its literary mission.
