- The Mexican Association of Roadway Engineers (AMIVTAC) and former president Felipe Calderón publicly confirmed his death on Nov. 19.
- The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) issued condolences recognizing his leadership of the utility from 1999 to 2011 across the Zedillo, Fox and Calderón administrations.
