Overview
- Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania in 1942, Wise served as class president at Penn State before producing shipboard shows in the U.S. Navy and working as an NBC page
- He first appeared onscreen in 1972 and went on to play bit parts alongside Burt Reynolds from 1974’s The Longest Yard to 1986’s Heat, also serving as Reynolds’s personal assistant
- Television roles spanned children’s series Uncle Croc’s Block, the medical drama Trauma Center, the crime series B.L. Stryker and a 1991 episode of Evening Shade
- Wise’s final acting credit was the CBBC sitcom S Club 7 in Miami in 1999, after which he retired from entertainment
- He built a second career as a real estate agent with Donohue Real Estate in Jupiter, Florida, and colleagues have paid tribute to his warm personality and decades of work
