Alexander McQueen Announces Sarah Burton's Departure After 26 Years As Creative Director

Sarah Burton is leaving her role as creative director of Alexander McQueen after over two decades at the luxury fashion house.
Burton's final collection for Alexander McQueen will be presented at Paris Fashion Week on September 30, 2023.
Burton worked closely with late designer Lee Alexander McQueen before taking over creative leadership after his death in 2010.
She gained worldwide fame for designing Kate Middleton's royal wedding gown in 2011 and has since created many looks for the Princess of Wales.
Parent company Kering will announce Burton's successor and new creative leadership for Alexander McQueen in due course.
