At 25, Mattison brings a record of 17 touchdowns in five seasons with the Vikings, including a career-high 700 yards on 180 carries in 2023.
Despite Michael F. Irwin of NFL Network revealing that Zamir White will start over Mattison, the new signee is expected to receive significant playing time.
The Raiders, who had about $28.3 million in cap space before the signing, are adopting a committee approach to improve their ground game.
